Malibu “Get Your Island On” Cocktail Competition

St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador (June 25, 2010) The votes from Spirit Fest have been tallied and the winner of the Malibu Get Your Island On cocktail competition is in.  The finalists were Greensleeves and O’Reillys Irish Newfoundland Pub, both of which made a great showing at the St. John's Convention Centre.  With over 1,500 votes, it was a close race.  But there can only be one winner and congratulations go out to…

Thanks to all George Street members for participating - there were some unique and tasty drinks that everyone created and Malibu looks forward to doing this again next summer!

For their efforts, O’Reillys Irish Newfoundland Pub will be awarded the following:

1) Title of “Official Summer Drink of George Street
2) Promotion on www.georgestreetlive.ca for one (1) year
3) Commemorative plaque to display at O’Reillys Irish Newfoundland Pub
