CANADA'S BIG BIRTHDAY BASH

Each year, the biggest Canada Day party in Newfoundland is Canada's BIG Birthday Bash on George Street. Headliners in recent years have included July Talk, April Wine, Helix, Honeymoon Suite, I Mother Earth and more.

This year's Canada Day festival on George Street will take place Sun Jun 30, 2019, headlined by Arkells! See more info here.

GEORGE STREET FESTIVAL

This year's George Street Festival will take place Thu Aug 1–Wed Aug 7, 2019. Tickets are not yet on sale. When acts and tickets are announced, we'll post it here.

Each year, many thousands of people from all over Canada and worldwide flock to the George Street Festival for 7 days of outdoor concerts and partying on the street. Performers have included Blue Rodeo, Dropkick Murphys, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Kenny Rogers, Our Lady Peace, and many more. (Click here for past festivals.)

THE GEORGE STREET MARDI GRAS

Newfoundland's biggest Hallowe'en bash, the George Street Mardi Gras, is a yearly event unlike any other. Combining on-the-street celebrations with the always-amazing Bud Light Costume BOOnanza costume contest (with $10K in prizes), plus live outdoor concerts, it draws a huge audience from across the province.

Details about 2019's George Street Mardi Gras are not yet announced.

George Street Summer Concert Series

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Launched in 2018, the George Street Summer Concert Series were weekly, all-ages concerts free of charge. It was a great way for parents to introduce their kids to an outdoor music experience, and each week it grew in popularity. Past performers include local favourites Denis Parker, Mick Davis, Rum Ragged, The Kubasonics, Rachel Cousins, Sherry Ryan, Clare Follett and more. 2019 performances have yet to be announced.
